The Newton Moore Senior High School Community STEM Fair is held annually on a day during National Science Week.
The Fair attracts interested people as well as parents and teachers from other schools as well as primary students. It also invites community groups like members of Dolphin Discovery, Rotary, Edith Cowan University, City of Bunbury, and this year, a vist from The University of Western Australia (UWA), Quantum Road Trip Team who will hold a booth at the Fair.
The school has an invited speakers session in the school library. This year the public speakers will be a former Newton Moore SHS student who has studied biology and is now working for Rio Tinto, a local scientist presenting on preserving the threatened ring tail possum and a Forrest Prospect Fellow from Department of Physics, UWA who is part of the UWA Quantum Road Trip Team.
