R U OK? Day—Panel Discussion hosted by Exciton Science

Dear CDM member,
You are invited to attend a panel discussion to mark R U OK? Day at 1pm (11 am AWST) on Thursday, 9 September.
The event, hosted by Exciton Science, will discuss mental health care conversations and positive approaches during the challenging times many of us are facing due to COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions on travel. More details are available on the Exciton Science website or register here: https://unimelb.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_XE29Not7R9CdQ8Ri5UWgHA
The discussion is open to all so feel free to share the details to anyone you think might be interested in attending.
R U OK? is a harm prevention charity that encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times in their lives.
Its work focuses on building the motivation, confidence and skills of the help-giver – the person who can have a meaningful conversation with someone who is struggling with life.
As a member of the Centre, you can play an important role in supporting your fellow Centre member on this day and throughout the year. More information on R U OK? Day, along with tips for starting conversations in your university, workplace, social circle or family, are available at https://www.ruok.org.au/
